Favorite pub in Battle Creek, great atmosphere and service. A variety of food choices depending on your particular palate, personal favorite is the pizza or cheeseburger basket-portions are huge and I guarantee you will not go away hungry. Owner and management team are top notch, highly recommend!

Great food. Excellent prices. However the service has gone down hill since when it first opened. Takes forever sometimes to get waited on and get your orders taken. If it wasn't for good food and great prices i wouldn't keep going back. Hopefully they figure out the problem and speed it up a bit!

In a town without much variety, this is a very unexpected surprise. The ribs are by far the best on town. The ribs and steak were amazingly tender! The mile high meatloaf was delicious and such a huge portion. We were amazed at the variety of the menu, so many choices and it was so hard to choose. The goods news is that this means several more visits just to try their spectacular menu choices. Our waitress, Beth was very attentive and friendly. Overall we are very pleased with this hidden gem in BC.

Good food but slow service even though it wasn't busy. Very cute waitress (Natasha) but total airhead. Our food came out after people who ordered after us so my guess it had been sitting there for a while waiting for the waitress. Had to ask for a drink refill and then wait ages to get it. Asked for separate checks and of course she put everyone together so had to wait for her to fix that.

Love their pizza, good service and food is always hot. While I have never had a bad pizza the Philly Stake (add jalapeños) is out of this WORLD! The crust while light has a great crunch and with the garlic butter makes it a coveted part of the pizza. Their pizza's are not for the lactose intolerant. The fried pickles and potato skins are a meal so bring friends and be ready to eat. Ironically the place is very family friendly and has two great spaces to have some privacy for a larger party (you will want to call ahead because they are busy).

Great burgers. From the time I stepped out of my car I could smell the exhaust from the grill telling me that fresh beef was on the grill. I had the McGonigle burger which was huge! Came with 3 cheeses, bacon and lettuce, mayo and tomato. Tasted great and defiantly filled me up. I didn't care much for the fries but they weren't that bad. Big crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I hear the fish is excellent here. Should have come last week on Good Friday. I'm a bit tired of fish so ill give that a try some other time.

McGonigle's was a nice place to fill up for a reasonable price. We had a big group of us meeting for lunch and it seems like there was more than plenty of seating throughout the restaurant. Service was pretty friendly and the food was served hot and fresh. I would go back.

This is one of those hidden gems in Battle Creek. It's off the beaten path a little, but it sure is worth the little extra drive from downtown. The food here is always great. The first time I came here I ordered the steak salad. Very good salad. The lettuce was crisp and fresh as well as nice ripe red tomatoes. The steak was nice and tender too. My father really loves the bangers and mash. My father is from England and says the bangers are the best he's found in the States, and he's been here for over 30 years. Bangers and mash are a must try. Tonight I enjoyed a new menu item. I had their 12oz New York Strip Steak. I ordered it medium and it was right on the money. The steak was nicely charred, and full of flavor. It had just a little fat on it. And the french fries were perfect. I don't know how their fries are exactly cooked, but they cook up mouth watering fries. So get on out to this place this weekend. They have great food, can handle large group, perfect prices, and friendly service.

Great food! Clam strip basket is the bomb! Only downfall is the service! If they were a little faster they'd get 5 stars! And believe me I do understand it's just a small atmosphere bar but waiting a half hour to 45 minutes for appetizers is a little ridiculous! But anyways if you like yummy greasy bar food this is the place to go!

Friendly people and good food for the price. Beer selection is better then most. They have a 24 ounce steak on Saturday night that is AWESOME!
